New Blog!!
Well, I decided that since I like to write, I would make a writing blog. This blog will be about my life, and the writing blog will be ummm....well things I write. That makes sense. So enjoy that blog!!
Christmas!!
I love Christmas!! This year was probably one of the best ones yet!! For Christmas Eve my family had the missionaries over as well as the Woods and my Grandpa and Grandma Kerr. We had a Mexican style dinner, a great program afterwards, and played games to end the night. When it was finally time to go to bed, I couldn't sleep! I was so frusturated because I was tossing and turning for almost an hour. Finally I fell asleep only to wake up at exactly 1:30, like I do every year. After looking at what "Santa" had brought, I was able to fall asleep.
I have discovered the secret of Christmaas. you have to only want one thing. Then everything else will just be a pleasant surprise. The only thing I REALLY wanted was a guitar. I got that along with a suitcase, giftcard to Forever 21, Juicy Couture perfume, and makeup. It was great! The rest of the day everyone just hung out and relaxed. Except for me. I have to finish reading Great Expectations by Charles Dickens before break is over and I have a little less than 20 chapters to go. But I can do it. I was also stretching because I am trying to get myself flexible enough to do the splits. (If anyone has any tips I would LOVE them!) So, then I decided to make this blog. Pretty cool, huh?

Getting Started
Hey everybody!!
So sometime last year my Grandma tried to get me to start a blog...which failed. I really didn't have any interest and I think she kind of gave up on me. But NOW I'm back and ready to start BLOGGING!! YAY!! This blog might serve as a good excuse for me to get a new camera (I love you Mom!!). Also, since I seem to suffer from short term memory loss, it will help me to remember all the crazy things I tend to get myself into. It should be interesting. Anyways, since this is my Freshman year in highschool I'm going to start this blog doing a shortish summary of the past five months of school, activities, and fun!!
School started!! I am a Freshman at Poly Highschool, home of the Bears!! Pretty scary. I also started Seminary which means waking up at 5 in the morning. But I do love it. My classes consist of French 2, Theatre 1/2, Hnrs Biology, Intro to Lit Hnrs, Algebra 2 Hnrs, and Tennis. Very exciting. Let's see now....I have started teaching piano lessons and I have one student. I am working on getting more. I also attended my first Poly football game. I tried out for my first highschool play at Poly, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and got the lead role of Helena. (See more on my mom's blog). I tried out for the Mock Trial Team and made it. I went to Knott's Scary Farm for the second time. I went to my first concert. (It was Jason Mraz at the Hollywood Bowl). I went to see Mary Poppins with my family in Los Angeles. I went to an Angels game. I threw a Christmas Party with two of my friends and it was AMAZING!! These events are probably all wildly out of order and I'm probably missing something, but that's pretty much what has happened since school started.
